Aphids on flowers – home methods for getting rid of the pest

Aphids are one of the most common pests in our homes and gardens. When they appear, if we do not react strongly they can kill all plants one by one. Today, a few proven, home methods how to get rid of them in an ecological way.

Decoction of onions

One of the most effective ways to deal with aphids is a stock made of onions. To prepare it, dice a large onion, put it in a pot, pour 1 liter of water and boil for half an hour. Then set aside to cool down. Strain the cool stock, pour it into a sprayer and spray the infected plants. You may have to repeat the treatment.

Milk!

One of the most popular aphid remedies already used by our grandmothers was a solution of water and cow’s milk mixed in a 1:1 ratio. For better results repeat the spraying.

Grey soap solution

One of the cheaper options in the fight against aphids is a solution made of grey soap, which as we know is a cure for all evil. dissolve 10 g of soap in half a liter of well warm water. After it has cooled down, spray the leaves and flowers of the plants.
